Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and general site preparation.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and equipment operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and managing waste.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Support framing, drywall, and finish work as directed by the Site Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment (OSHA standards).
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
