Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear, clean, and prepare construction sites by removing debris, dirt, and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (lumber, concrete, tools) to work areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Equipment Support: Assist in the setup and operation of construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Waste Management: Ensure proper disposal of construction waste and maintain a clean, organized job site to prevent accidents.
- Assistance: Perform general labor tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, or assisting carpenters and electricians with basic tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM or similar).
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
