Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools in a safe and controlled manner.
- Safety Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and scaffolding.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with supervisors and crew members to coordinate tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed meets the company's high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior construction experience required; on-site training provided.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Clear Record: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team environment.
