Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load, unload, and set up materials, tools, and equipment for the crew.
- Maintenance: Clean work sites, remove debris, and maintain a safe, organized environment.
- General Labor: Assist with excavation, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed by the foreman.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and tools (e.g., jackhammers, forklifts) with proper training and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Follow blueprints and instructions to ensure work meets quality standards.
- Communication: Relay information to supervisors and coordinate with other tradespeople effectively.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and walking on uneven terrain.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, general labor, or skilled trades is highly preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team setting.
