Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) with proper certification
- Read and interpret blueprints for precise construction execution
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen on complex builds
- Perform concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Document progress and report site issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Class B CDL preferred (training provided)
- Steel-toe boots and hard hat mandatory
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
