Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Assist in the operation of construction equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe worksite.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging, or setting forms as directed by supervisors.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in basic quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with crew members and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
