Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring the area is safe for operations.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and power equipment under supervision.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Assist Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with various manual tasks as needed.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage tool and material usage to prevent waste.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM or similar).
- Work Ethic: Motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and work well in a team environment.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record is essential.
