Responsibilities
- Assist with Site Preparation: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Operate Basic Machinery: Safely operate power tools, forklifts, and construction vehicles as trained.
- Perform Physical Labor: Dig trenches, mix concrete, and assist with framing and demolition under supervision.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with foremen and other crew members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Material Handling: Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Work Nights: Must be available to work rotating shifts between 5:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Valid ID: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
