Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods (up to 50+ lbs).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Equipment: Willingness to wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
