Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, dig trenches, and prepare building sites for foundation and framing work.
- General Labor Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and basic heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, jackhammer) following strict safety protocols.
- Site Clean-up: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for up to 10 hours a day in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and take direction from supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to safety and following instructions precisely.
