Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including cleaning, organizing, and securing the area for the night crew.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support electricians, carpenters, and other skilled laborers with their daily tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) safely and correctly under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all debris is removed and safety protocols are followed.
- Concrete & Earthwork: Participate in concrete pouring, tamping, or general earthmoving tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for up to 10 hours a day in varying weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shift (e.g., 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Experience: Prior experience as a construction laborer or general labor is a plus but not strictly required; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safety Conscious: Must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
