Responsibilities
- Execute foundational site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete pumps under supervision
- Install temporary safety barriers, signage, and perimeter fencing for night shift protocols
- Assist skilled trades with material staging, equipment calibration, and workflow optimization
- Conduct nightly site inspections and hazard documentation for compliance reporting
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance checks
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and emergency procedures for night operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Comfortable operating power tools and basic heavy machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in low-visibility conditions
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
