Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, shoveling, and removing debris.
- Measurement & Layout: Help with basic measurements and layout tasks to ensure precise construction standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (tape measure, level, hammer) is a plus.
- Safety Mindset: Willingness to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
