Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks during night shift hours
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Assist carpenters and masons with foundational construction activities
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and crew members efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Ability to operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Availability for consistent night shift schedule (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
