Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed by foremen.
- Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with basic tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring site safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage on-site inventory of supplies and materials.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
