Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradespersons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and waste disposal
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Assist in setting up temporary structures and safety barriers
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Availability to work night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) including weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
