Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (jackhammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and structural assembly
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform quality checks on completed tasks to ensure compliance with blueprints
- Collaborate with night shift team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record for equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement comprehension
