Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate light machinery (forklifts, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, carpentry, and demolition work
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammers, saws, wrenches)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
