Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks during night shifts
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete work, framing, and site cleanup
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in weekly team meetings to align on project milestones
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for overnight shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to travel to project sites in VA/NY as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
