Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and foundation prep tasks with precision
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) under OSHA guidelines
- Install scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain inventory logs
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal to maintain OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen to meet tight project deadlines
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and report hazards
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and stand for 12-hour shifts
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete work, demolition, or site prep preferred
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong communication skills in English
