Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors, under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, including proper waste disposal.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with foremen and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM) and weekends.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
