Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity
- Participate in team projects and communicate effectively with crew members
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all new hires
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards at all times
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
