Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Load/unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Participate in team meetings and project briefings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train motivated beginners!
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
