Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating basic hand tools
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and instructions
- Support various construction phases including framing, concrete work, and site cleanup
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to attend training
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
