Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools and construction equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Maintain a safe, organized job site in compliance with OSHA standards
- Load/unload trucks and manage inventory of construction materials
- Perform basic demolition and excavation tasks as needed
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new skills
