Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, levels)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety instructions
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and debris removal tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
- Support specialized trades as needed for project completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Albuquerque
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
