Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment under supervision (training provided)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train everyone
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Basic communication skills for teamwork with contractors
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-sponsored)
- Valid California driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
