Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with site preparation and cleanup
- Load/unload construction materials and tools safely
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for task execution
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Perform basic trenching, shoveling, and debris removal
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counting
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn construction skills
- Must be available for early morning start times (5:00 AM - 6:00 AM)
