Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Operate basic tools safely (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow verbal instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Support demolition, cleanup, and site preparation activities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train all new hires!
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Philadelphia
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
