Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and material handling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Prepare and maintain job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
