Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform general physical labor including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Participate in team-based construction tasks with punctual attendance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical strength assessment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- No prior construction experience necessary – full training provided
