Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring proper groundwork.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Support Skilled Trades: Provide essential assistance to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as required for project completion.
- Quality Assurance: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure the job site remains clean and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations, site-specific safety plans, and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Age & ID: Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and potential overtime shifts.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-oriented mindset.
