Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen in site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized job sites
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Perform physical tasks including digging, carrying, and cleanup
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions
- Assist in scaffolding setup and demolition operations
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Basic math and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
