Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by sorting debris and waste
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform basic trenching, excavation, and backfilling tasks
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train from day one!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
