Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including material handling and cleanup
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving construction materials
- Operate basic tools under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and senior team members
- Support carpenters and other trades as needed on projects
- Complete daily safety checklists and adhere to OSHA standards
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Basic understanding of English for safety protocols and team communication
- Willingness to work early morning/afternoon shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn construction skills
