Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks
- Load/unload equipment and materials safely using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, levels) under supervision
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for application)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Fresno County
- Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
