Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision (hammers, saws, shovels, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Follow verbal instructions from supervisors and project managers
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- No prior construction experience necessary - training provided
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measuring and material counting
