Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic construction tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Follow detailed safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Participate in project-specific training sessions to develop trade skills
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
