Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and store them safely on-site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and hand tools under supervision.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, shoveling, and removing trash.
- Assistance: Help skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with their daily tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available to work full-time hours.
- Communication: Basic ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Steel-toed boots are required for the first day; other tools provided.
