Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and transport debris to designated areas
- Perform site cleanup and prepare surfaces for subsequent construction phases
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors and collaborate with team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
