Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform debris cleanup and waste management per safety protocols
- Follow blueprints and instructions to support project timelines
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary – we provide paid training!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Portland
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
