Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Assist in building structures, installing fixtures, and finishing surfaces
- Participate in daily team briefings and project updates
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train on the job!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory for application)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Tampa Bay area
