Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with construction tasks
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Load/unload construction materials using manual handling and basic equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings
- Operate power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Milwaukee County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurement
