Responsibilities
- Assist senior crew members with construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Load/unload construction materials and transport supplies to job sites
- Perform basic site preparation tasks such as excavation support and debris removal
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision (training provided)
- Read and interpret simple instructions and blueprints
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for all positions)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Must pass pre-employment background check
