Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Load/un construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and site cleanup
- Participate in daily briefings and task assignments from site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and heights
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic communication skills for team coordination
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
