Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall, and painting support.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools (levels, saws, drills) under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform general cleanup duties and assist in final site inspections.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; a willingness to learn is the most important qualification.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
