Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Tool Operation: Learn to safely operate basic construction tools, including power drills, saws, and levelers.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assisting Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and other skilled laborers with various tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: A strong willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a commitment to safety on the job site.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
