Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, trenching, and clearing debris to ensure a safe work environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the direct supervision of experienced crew members.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by sweeping, cleaning, and organizing materials.
- Support Trades: Provide general assistance to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Weather Adaptability: Perform duties in various weather conditions, ensuring safety and efficiency regardless of temperature or precipitation.
Qualifications
- Experience: No previous construction experience is required. We value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for site access.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Teamwork: Must be a team player who works well in a collaborative environment.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
