Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or jackhammers under supervision.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including mixing concrete, carrying lumber, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide on-the-job training; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are all that is needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Safety Conscious: Must follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a history of showing up on time and ready to work.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to get to the Charlotte/VA job sites.
