Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and distribute materials and tools on construction sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and site preparations.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and waste disposal.
- Operate basic construction equipment (forklifts, jackhammers) under direct supervision.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and site rules.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials as directed by the foreman.
- Keep work areas organized and hazard-free at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods on various surfaces.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job site conditions.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic measurements.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be punctual and maintain a positive attitude.
